A Wooden Montessori House Toy With 5 Activities in One
One wooden toy house, five things to do. A clock face, number slots from 1 to 0, plus and minus shapes, a hammer-and-ball game and spinning roof gears are all built into the same brightly coloured house, so your child can go from counting to telling the time without reaching for another toy.
It is made of wood, stands about 15 cm tall and is marked for ages 3 and up. That makes it a compact, hands-on gift for birthdays, Christmas or a quiet-time shelf, and a good fit for families who like Montessori-style play with real things to touch, turn and tap.
What is on the house
A clock with a turning hand
One side of the house is a clock face with the numbers 1 to 12 and a hand that turns. Ask your child to set the time for breakfast or bedtime and watch the hand move.
Number puzzle from 1 to 0
Chunky coloured number pieces fit into matching slots on the walls, 1 to 5 on the front and 6 to 0 on the back. Another side has plus and minus slots for early maths talk.
Hammer-and-ball game
Red, yellow and green balls sit on the roof, and a wooden hammer is there for tapping them. It is a good way to burn off energy while practising hand-eye coordination.
Spinning gears
Three bright gears on the roof give small fingers something to turn and watch.

How to Play: 5 Easy Starter Ideas
- Match the numbers. Tip out the loose pieces and post each number into its slot, 1 to 5 on the front, then 6 to 0 on the back.
- Set the clock. Call out a time such as 3 o'clock and let your child turn the hand to match.
- Tap and count. Count out loud as you tap the red, yellow and green balls with the hammer.
- Spin the gears. Turn each gear in turn and talk about colours, or race to spin them all.
- Plus and minus talk. Match the plus and minus shapes to their slots and chat about adding more and taking away.
Short rounds suit this age. Pick one activity, play for a few minutes, then let your child lead. For more ideas, browse our Montessori wooden toys and educational toys.
Safety and Supervision
Recommended for ages 3 and up, with an adult nearby. Not for children under 3.
- The number pieces, balls and hammer are small parts. Keep them away from younger siblings.
- Play hammer games at a table or on the floor, and only tap the roof balls.
- Check the house regularly and stop play if a piece cracks or comes loose.

Toy House FAQs
What age is the Montessori toy house for?
The box is marked 3+, so we recommend it for children aged 3 and up with adult supervision. It contains small parts such as number pieces, balls and a hammer, so it is not suitable for children under 3.
What activities does the wooden toy house have?
There are five: a clock face with a turning hand, a number puzzle from 1 to 0, plus and minus slots, a hammer-and-ball game on the roof, and three spinning gears.
How big is the toy house?
The house measures 19.5 Ă 13.9 Ă 15.3 cm. It fits on a play shelf or a small table.
How is it different from a wooden clock or shape sorter?
A wooden clock or shape sorter usually offers one activity. This house adds a number puzzle, plus and minus shapes, a hammer-and-ball game and gears to the clock, so one toy keeps interest going for longer.
Is it a good gift for a 3 year old?
Yes. It is colourful, compact and gives a child several different things to do, which suits birthdays and Christmas. If it is not the right fit, our refund policy covers exchanges and store credit on unused items within 14 days.
