Choose a robot, change its form and start a different display or story

This transformation model offers two appearances in one selected design. Depending on the letter chosen, the robot changes into a fighter jet, truck, sports car, fire engine, tank, police car or dinosaur.

Transformation is manual, with no motor, batteries or remote control. Each model has its own folding sequence, so the best experience comes from working slowly on a clear surface and following the imagery for the exact A–L design ordered.

Which transformation design should you choose?

The letters are design codes rather than colour names. Match the code, second form and thumbnail carefully before adding an option to the cart.

How the transformation model can be enjoyed

Two forms in one design

Change between robot mode and the second form shown for the selected letter. The exact transformation and finished proportions vary by model.

Hands-on mechanical change

Panels, limbs and vehicle sections are moved by hand. There is no automatic button-operated transformation unless clearly shown for a particular option.

Display and careful handling

The finished-goods construction suits transformation practice, posing and shelf display. It should not be treated as a crash-resistant vehicle or rough-play toy.

No charging or controls

With no batteries or remote, use centres on learning the folding sequence and comparing the two finished forms.

A safer first transformation

  1. Check the selected model. Compare the design code and product imagery before moving any panels because the sequence differs across A–L.
  2. Work on a clear, flat surface. Good lighting makes hinges, tabs, wheels and folding sections easier to see.
  3. Support each joint. Hold close to the hinge and fold gently. Do not pull from the far end of a panel.
  4. Stop when a section catches. Recheck the reference image instead of applying more force. Another panel may need to move first.
  5. Lock the foundation last. Align the feet or vehicle base before standing or rolling the finished form.
  6. Practise the reverse sequence. Return to the starting form slowly and remember which tabs release before nearby panels move.
First-play tip: complete the first change together. A slow first attempt helps prevent forcing the wrong panel and reduces stress on the joints.

Is this the right transformation model?

A good choice if you want

  • One model with two manually changed forms
  • A choice of vehicle, aircraft, tank or dinosaur themes
  • Battery-free handling and display
  • A model for ages 18+ under the current specification
  • A compact collectible selected by design code

Consider another option if you need

  • Remote-controlled driving or automatic transformation
  • A complete set containing every A–L model
  • A confirmed toy age grade below 18 years
  • A model designed for impacts, throwing or rough play
  • Identical size and difficulty across every option
Age guidance matters: the current specification says 18+. Although the title and some imagery may suggest a children's toy, use the stated 18+ grade unless Toys4us formally confirms a different age recommendation for the exact option.

Product image buying guide

The images below are already available on the product page and help with comparing transformation mechanics, forms and option-specific proportions.

Three-step guide for carefully transforming the robot model
Using a flat surface, supporting each hinge and setting the feet or base before displaying the transformed model.
Transformation robot model shown in robot and alternate form
Comparing the selected model in both forms before relying on its letter code or colour alone.
Vehicle transformation robot option with folding instructions
Checking where the vehicle panels, legs and upper body move during the option-specific transformation.
Sports car transformation robot option
Comparing the sports-car shape and robot silhouette when choosing between similarly coloured designs.
Emergency vehicle transformation robot option
Reviewing the emergency-vehicle details and the finished robot form before selecting a rescue-themed model.
Armoured vehicle transformation robot option
Checking the bulkier armoured form and its folding sections rather than assuming every design transforms the same way.
Police vehicle transformation robot option
Comparing the police-vehicle markings and robot appearance with the selector thumbnail before checkout.
Truck transformation robot option
Reviewing how the truck body divides into robot sections and how the model stands after transformation.
Yellow sports car transformation robot option
Comparing this compact yellow sports-car design with the other yellow option before choosing a code.

Care and troubleshooting

  • If a panel will not move, compare it with the selected design's reference image and check whether another section must release first.
  • If the robot will not stand, align both feet, spread the supporting sections evenly and place it on a flat surface.
  • If vehicle panels will not meet, retrace the previous fold instead of pressing the sections together.
  • Wipe surface dust away with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry the model completely.
  • Do not soak, throw, crush or expose the PVC model to heaters, flames or prolonged high temperatures.
  • Store it in a stable form where joints are not supporting unnecessary weight or pressure.

Age and safer handling

Follow the current 18+ recommendation. Do not give the model to a younger recipient unless Toys4us confirms an appropriate lower age grade for the exact option.

The model must not be swallowed, bitten, burned or deliberately broken. Small or pointed sections may become accessible if a joint or panel is damaged.

Transform it away from faces and support sections close to their hinges. Stop using the model if it cracks, exposes a sharp edge or develops a loose component.

Listen to the existing audio guide

Use the product-page audio for an additional introduction to the 18+ robot model, then rely on the selected design images for its exact transformation sequence.

Frequently asked questions

Is this robot car remote-controlled?

No. It is a non-electric model with no remote control. Transformation and posing are performed by hand.

Does it need batteries?

No batteries are required because no electronic movement, sound or light function is listed.

Will I receive all 12 robots?

No. The A–L selector represents individual designs. Choose one code and confirm that its thumbnail matches the model you want.

Why are the choices labelled with letters?

The letters identify different robot designs rather than simple colours. Each has its own second form and appearance.

Is every option the same size?

No single shared measurement is confirmed. Proportions can differ between robot, vehicle, aircraft, tank and dinosaur forms, so check the imagery for the selected option.

Do all designs transform in one step?

No. The available imagery indicates different mechanisms, from hand-folded sections to simplified transformation styles. Follow the references for the exact design.

Is this only for boys?

No. The model can suit any adult collector or recipient interested in robots, vehicles, aircraft or dinosaurs. Selection should be based on interest and the 18+ age grade, not gender.

What material is listed?

PVC is listed in the current product specification.

What should I do if a panel feels stuck?

Stop pulling, support the area close to its joint and check the reference image. Another section may need to move first.

How should I clean it?

Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it promptly. Do not soak the model or apply household solvents.

Match the design code, and transform with care

Before adding it to your cart, check the option thumbnail, second form and colour cues. Remember that the order is for one selected model rather than the full A–L collection.
