Colour appears with water, then fades for another round
This reusable water painting book gives children a contained reveal activity without pots of paint or loose markers. Add clean water to the supplied pen, wait for the tip to become wet and brush it over the pale activity areas. The pre-printed colours appear where the page is damp.
As the water evaporates, the revealed picture fades and the activity can be repeated. It is best understood as a reusable picture-reveal book—not a replacement for open-ended drawing or painting, because the colours and final images are already set.

The four-step water-reveal cycle
- Fill. Unscrew or open the refillable pen as supplied and add clean water only.
- Wet the tip. Close the pen securely and wait for water to reach the brush before pressing it onto the page.
- Reveal. Move the damp tip across the activity area to make the hidden colours appear.
- Dry and reuse. Leave the page open and flat until the colours fade before starting again.

Getting started without soaking the page
- Fill the pen over a sink and close it firmly before handing it to the child.
- Wait briefly for the brush tip to wet through instead of squeezing or pressing hard.
- Start with one small area and use light strokes. Too much water can leave the page saturated and slow the reset time.
- Keep the current page open until dry; closing damp pages may trap moisture.
- If every page is wet, pause the activity rather than adding more water.
- Empty the pen after play and let both the book and pen tip air-dry completely.

What this activity does—and does not do
Low-preparation colour reveal
The supplied pen uses water, so there are no separate paint pots or marker inks to organise.
Repeatable pages
The colours fade as the page dries, allowing the same scene to be revealed again.
Predetermined artwork
The child uncovers an existing picture. They do not choose the printed colours or create a permanent drawing.
Drying time matters
A thoroughly wet page may need about 10 minutes before it is ready to reuse.
Water can still spill
The activity avoids loose pigments, but an overfilled or open pen can still wet clothes, bags and furniture.
No guaranteed outcomes
Using the pen offers practice with controlled strokes and visual cause-and-effect, but it does not guarantee artistic, motor or cognitive development.

Product image guide
Each current theme is shown below. The covers state 12 exploration scenes, but the exact interior artwork is theme-specific.

Using the book away from home
- Carry the pen empty and fill it after arrival to reduce leaks inside a bag.
- Use the book on a tray or stable lap surface where small spills can be wiped quickly.
- Keep the pen and spiral-bound book clear of car-seat and aircraft restraints.
- Let wet pages dry before closing the book or packing it away.
- Do not leave the book, pen or detachable pen parts in a cot, bassinet or sleep space.
Care and safety
No verified minimum age is supplied. Follow the delivered packaging and supervise use of the refillable pen.
Check the pen barrel, cap, brush tip, spiral binding, handle and pages before each session. Stop use if a pen part loosens, the tip breaks, the binding exposes a sharp end or page layers begin to separate.
Use clean water only. Do not add paint, ink, soap, fragrance or other liquids to the pen.
Avoid overfilling. Water can still leak or spill even though the activity uses no loose paint.
Open the book and dry every damp page completely before storage. Persistent moisture can damage layered page surfaces.
Do not soak, scrub or machine-wash the book. Wipe the exterior only as permitted by the delivered care instructions.
Keep pen parts and damaged page material away from children under three and children who mouth toys.
